The Chariot – Unsung EP

Unsung is an EP released December 6, 2005 by Christian metalcore group The Chariot. It contains two new songs and four re-worked versions of songs from their debut album Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, and Nothing Is Bleeding.

Another Track was released around the time of “Unsung” titled “Elvish Presley”, but was not featured on the EP. This song was later released on their 2007 album, “The Fiancée”. It is the fourth track on the disc, titled “And Shot Each Other”. The new version is re-done to sound cleaner and features a gospel choir in the closing minutes of the track.

Track #4, “Kenny Gibler”, is re-done on “The Fiancée” album as well. It features Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams accompanying Josh Scogin. The track was re-titled as “Then Came to Kill”

Trentemøller

Denmark-based Anders Trentemøller made his debut in 1997, DJing the local club circuit and occasionally performing live. After a several-year-long imposed hiatus, he returned with his own productions, which quickly grabbed the ear of the then red-hot Naked Music house music label. His debut EP was well received and won praise from DJs in all electronic music genres. This led to a series of 12″ singles on such labels as Audiomatique and Tic Tac Toe before finding a home on Germany’s esteemed Poker Flat Records, where he released a series of critically acclaimed singles. His ambitious double-disc full-length The Last Resort was released in October 2006 on Poker Flat.

David Bowie abandoned the glam/sci-fi personae of Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane and Diamond Dogs with this radical departure.
Recorded at Sigma Sound Studios, the home of Philadelphia International, it featured the label’s crack house band and, as a result,
confirmed the singer’s growing love of soul and R&B. Pulsating dance grooves abound, in particular on the disco-influenced ‘Fame’,
which topped the US singles chart. The song was co-written with John Lennon, a compliment Bowie repaid by reinventing the Beatles’
‘Across The Universe’ as a dancefloor classic. Such self-confidence abounds throughout this album
which shows the singer firmly in command of yet another musical direction.
