NBA Live 08 introduces hot spots, where real NBA shot data is used to illuminate the locations on the floor where your players are most effective. Couple this with all-new signature go-to Moves that capture the essence of the NBA’s best, and you can now play the game on a console like you see it from the stands. Pass the ball inside and rule down low with ‘own the paint’ post play. String together combos of fakes and shots to fool your defender into committing and create space for the game-defining bucket. On the perimeter, in the paint, and with unparalleled depth, dominate with your go-to move with NBA Live 10.

Installation Instructions:
1. Download all sections
2. start with a FRESH&CLEAN install of NBA Live 08
3. Extract all files into sgsms
3a. Art section and Logos section has folders, extract the FILES within the folders and NOT THE FOLDERS
3b. Folder Updates sections(2) must have the files extracted into the correct corresponding folders
3c. Some sections may have folders of two different versions of the same file (ex. game intro movies), you will have to select only one of the folders and extract that file
4. Copy the TUP10 roster save file into the My Documents/NBA Live 08/save folder
4a. “dynastyseason safe” folder does not need to be copied, see dislaimer for the use of this folder
5. Installation options:
The user has a choice of two game intro movies:
1) TNT Opening
2) TNT Game of Kings
pick one and extract it into the /movies folder
The user has a choice of two lineup views in dynasty mode:
1) Injured Reserved
2) Player Rotation (*portaits do not show up)
pick one and extract it into the /sgsm folder
6. (Optional) update the default Play Now teams to Celtics vs. Lakers
(Proceed at your own risk, make backups if necessary!)
a. Use a hex editor (such as Hex Workshop)
b. Do a search for the text string of “Spurs”
c. Once you find text reading ” TEAMNAME = ‘Spurs’ ” you are in the right place
d. Make sure you take notice of the spaces
e. Edit ” ‘Spurs’ ” to ” ‘Lakers’ “
f. A few lines after should read ” TEAMNAME = ‘Cavaliers’ “
g. Edit ” ‘Cavaliers’ ” to ” ‘Celtics’ “
h. Save, close, test.

*Due to large file sizes to make the quality of the TUP10 gameplay as good at is, there maybe some crashes at the player introduction sequence. Here are ways around this:
1) Hit “ESC” before the Team vs Team overlay appears or if u get past that, then hit “ESC” before the first player is introduced by the announcer.
2) Play on either of the decade all-stars court (since they are EA default, then they are low file size arenas).
3) People have reported that using the NLSC shoesacc.dbf will remove crashes, if you do this there will be less shoes available and the shoe assignments for every player may become mismatched.
*When playing either Dynasty mode or Season mode, it is advised to use the team.dbf version found in the “dynastyseason safe” folder that came with the roster. Back up saves before proceeding.
*The “International Signed Players” team is OVER the max 15 player limit and should not be used in Modes such as dynasty or season.
*Players in the “International Signed Players” team can be placed on an NBA team by releasing them into the free agent pool and then signing them to the desired team. Keep in mind that there are 12 selected players active to be part of the playable Play Now team, the game may automatically re-orders, check the reorder screen for this team before continuing to play in Play Now mode.
