How To Setup And Run KOTOR (by Botdra Lar’les)
Here’s what I did:1) Open Daemon Tools and make sure that you can run 4 virtual drives at once. Put in the first Image you want to mount.
2) Go to My Computer and open up the drive you mounted the Image on. There should be some sort of installation file, run it.
3) While the installation is running mount the next 3 discs somewhere and when it asks for the next CD, hit “Browse…” and select which drive that specific CD is mounted on. Sometimes you will get an error message saying it can’t take the CD from there for whatever reason, just try again and it will work eventually. Usually the 2nd time you click it it will go through.
4) Once installation is finished, unmount all the drives and go into C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\SWKotOR and you will find the executable file. Replace this file with the one found in the “Crack” folder you downloaded (comes in with all the other links you downloaded so don’t panic that you didn’t download it seperately.) and then run the game.Just tell me if this doesn’t work, worked perfect for me. Hope that helps!
Running In Windowed Mode
Windows version:
you should edit swkotor.ini in your KOTOR folder.
add new line under
AllowWindowedMode=1
(And in that same file change “FullScreen=1″ to “FullScreen=0″)Mac version:
press alt + return to switch full screen or windowed mode
